Slades Park 3G Football Pitch

COVID-19 Update: Based on the latest Government guidance, we have suspended all bookings for the 3G Football Pitch and the Bournemouth Velodrome until further notice.

Slades Park in Bournemouth is celebrating the completion of the latest facility to enhance the Park for local residents, a FIFA standard floodlit 3G football pitch. The pitch can be used for 5, 7, 9 and 11 a side play.

Active Dorset, in partnership with Glenmoor and Winton Academy, Talbot Village Trust and the Football Foundation have financed the new pitch which is the first of its type in Bournemouth.

Pitch Availability

Glenmoor & Winton Academy have exclusive use of the pitch from 9-5 Monday-Friday during term time (except for Wednesday afternoons where their usage stops at 1pm).

The pitch is booked regularly by our partner clubs; AFC Bournemouth Community Trust, Bournemouth Collegiate Community Club, Bournemouth Electric FC and Bournemouth University.

Community use takes place from 5pm-10pm weekdays (from 1pm on Wednesdays), 9am-10pm on weekends and during school holidays.

We currently have the following pitch vacancies which can be booked for community use;

Enquiries for weekend bookings should be made no later than midday Thursday

7-a-side

The pitch is reserved for community play on two evenings a week, Monday & Wednesday (8-9pm & 9-10pm).

We are currently looking for 8 groups who would be interested in playing during these times.

Cost: £5 per player for 1 hour.
