Latest Government Advice

The latest government advice now allows people to exercise more than once a day as long as social distancing guidelines are followed, alone, with members of their household, or with one person from outside of their household.

Exercise is still confided to groups of no more than two people, unless exercising with members of the same household. Sport England have further collated key information in relation to sport and physical activity guidelines and to read more about what you 'can' and 'cannot' do since the latest government guidelines please click here.

Many facilities associated with outdoor sports and physical activities can now reopen, if those responsible for them feel ready to do so and if they can do so safely. Each venue, including council-owned sports facilities, should make their own decisions about when their facilities are ready. To find out more information and guidance please click here.

Ready Set Ride

To help keep kids moving and active, British Cycling have launched their HSBC UK Ready Set Ride daily activity calendar.

Launched alongside the Youth Sport Trust as a tool to help parents introduce pedalling to playtime and teach more kids to ride, HSBC UK Ready Set Ride is split into three stages (Prepare 2 Ride, Balance and Pedals) which provide families with all they need to support children to start cycling.

They will be sharing a new game or activity through their Twitter and YouTube channels at 11:00 every day until Friday 24 April, you can access the full library at any time here.
