32 teams took part in the recent School Games, Lord Taverners Dorset Boccia competition organised by Val Ford at Victoria Education Centre.
Competitions were held for pupils from mainstream and special schools with a physical disability or a pan disability.
127 young people participated with games being officiated by 19 Young Leaders from Queen Elizabeth's School, Wimborne and Victoria Education Centre.
Val Ford commented how brilliant it was to have so many schools involved in the event. With such a fantastic entry, it looks as though the event will need to move to a larger venue next year.
Queen Elizabeth's School; Winchelsea School and Allenbourn Middle School together with 2 teams from Victoria Education Centre qualified for the Regional competition to be held in Exeter in March.
