The Great Big Family Health Walk

Families in North Dorset are being invited to join The Great Big Family Health Walk which takes place at 3pm on Wednesday 1st August in Sturminster Newton. This free event will be led by volunteer Walk Leaders from the North Dorset Walking For Health scheme. It starts/finishes at the Station Road Car Park in Sturminster Newton and will follow the North Dorset Trailway.

There is a choice between a 1 mile Treasure Hunt with painted rocks hidden along the route for little ones to find and a 2 mile Bug Hunt provided by Dorset County Council's Countryside Rangers Team.

The 1 mile route is buggy and wheelchair-friendly. Parents, grandparents and any other family members are all welcome to come along and join in the fun! The North Dorset Walking For Health scheme offers weekly health walks in Sturminster, Shaftesbury, Gillingham, Blandford and Sherborne.
