Funding available to support health and wellbeing for schools

Public Health Dorset is encouraging schools to apply for money to help improve emotional and mental health and wellbeing through physical activity for their whole school community.

Entries are now open for the Sport and Recreation Alliance's Community Sport and Recreation Awards. They are free and easy to enter and have been championing grassroots work on a national scale for over twenty years.
Dorset Cancer Wellbeing Events showcase Support Services & Physical Activity Opportunities

In September and October two cancer wellbeing events were held at the Lighthouse Poole and Village Hotel Bournemouth. These form the start of regular wellbeing events for anyone undergoing treatment for cancer at Bournemouth and Poole Hospitals.
